I agree that it's a complete waste of time to bring someone in your business who doesn't really want to be there. In the end, they'll do nothing for you or themselves. Sometimes we are so quick to go for a "signup" that we don't take the time to really qualify them and make sure they are a true partner with the ownership mentality you talk about.
